I have used the bike during heavy winter conditions during february-march-06. Remarks so far:
The 21' wheel "lifts" the front and doesn´t plow so easliy as the standard fork/wheel in 10 cm snow. Still it is a rather heavy piece and you have to be careful
High speed: I have never driven faster then 125 km/h and that I regard as the limit with spikes.
Cold weather: The standard handles has around 15W and is too little when it is -5 degrees C or less.
The window from spitfire is absolutely essential and takes away most of the wind from the body.
Driving on gravel
The T63 works rather well on gravel.

Tyres (Michelin T63) with spikes are excellent.
You can drive in almost any conditions except snowstorm on roads with large snowstrings and speed above 50km/h (too risky when you have to change lane...).
